The Seiko 5 watch was born in the year 1963 and instantly became a hit due to its key promise that every Seiko 5 watch would have five key attributes packed into them. Those key features are:

- Case and bracelet built for durability
The same key features can be found in the Supercars 2023 SRPJ95K but have been improved on since the Seiko 5’s inception.
The Seiko Supercars SRPJ95K features a sporty design that perfectly encapsulates the racing aesthetic with its stunning black and red design with white accents. The case is stainless steel with a black coating, ensuring a tough build that will easily survive everyday bumps, trips and falls. The red bezel brings great contrast to the watch and really makes it pop. To top off the racing aesthetic the dial has a carbon fibre finish that compliments the darker tones seen on the bezel and case. Set into the dial are a day and date window that gives the wearer more essential information about their day at the glance of the wrist.
Also included in the box is a spare silicone strap with a black and grey weaving pattern. This strap gives off the impression of the tread on a tire or the black asphalt of a racing track. A great addition to this limited edition collection.

Starting with the exterior, you can see an all-black box with white Seiko branding and a shiny silver Supercar wheel on top set in front of a window that gives you a peek at the goodies inside. On the interior, you will find the Seiko Supercars SRPJ95K timepiece, alternative black silicone straps, and the certificate of authenticity for the limited edition watch with the model number. All these items have been packed into a black spongy layer with red interior accents.

The Seiko 5 Sports SRPJ95K comes packed full of some of the most premium features that Seiko has to offer. It has an automatic movement powered by their 4R36 motor that is charged by the natural movement of the wearer, so you’ll never have to worry about a dead battery with regular wear and even features a battery reserve of 41 hours if you ever need to take it off.
In terms of durability, you’ll be quite impressed with its rating of 100 metres of water resistance which is perfect for some casual watersports and fun in the pool. The case and bracelet have been crafted from durable stainless steel and Hardlex glass covering the dial.
With a case size of 46mm lug-to-lug and a diameter of 42.5mm, it’s a relatively large watch but is about the right size for a sports watch. On the dial, you’ll be happy to find their famous Lumibrite paint that will ensure legibility even in complete darkness as well as a day and date display giving you more information at the glance of your wrist.
