How To Wear Rings

When you're wearing men's rings other than wedding bands it often signifies your personal style and a statement you want to make about yourself. The most important thing to consider when wearing your rings is that they're comfortable and that you're happy with the style you're going for. Feel free to break traditions and pave your own way if that's what looks best on you.

What Is The Right Finger To Wear A Ring?

Index Finger Rings

Historically each finger symbolises something unique. For example, historically your index finger has been used for signalling your family's wealth and social status. It has more recently become a symbol of being a member of a fraternity or club. Index fingers have become a popular finger to wear as a signet or family rest ring.

How To Wear Multiple Men's Rings

So you want more than one ring but aren't sure how to wear them? Typically the perfect balance of rings on men's hands is two or a max of three before it starts looking too busy. You've just got to find the right balance of spacing between your fingers, so try not to wear two really bulky rings right next to each other. You can also split your rings between your hands to pull off a similar style.

If you're married you could try a ring finger on your preferred hand with a ring on the index and a pinky finger on the other hand. Or you could try a thumb ring, index finger ring and pinky finger ring all on one hand. Get creative with it and find the best look for you, there aren't really any wrong answers when it comes to how you want to style your rings.

How To Style Men's Rings

Believe it or not, the most important part of styling your rings is to wear them with confidence. Try wearing them on your dominant hand so they're seen while you're shaking hands, writing, opening doors and so on. Try not to hide your hands in your pockets, wear them proudly!

Match the metals of your rings to your other jewellery if you wear any. Keeping the metals the same gives your jewellery a clean look that was well thought out.

Try matching the colour of the metal to your skin tone. Silver, steel, platinum and titanium work well with cool skin tones. Gold, rose gold, and brass works well with warmer skin tones.

Keep it simple until you've got that newfound confidence to try new styles with your rings. Start with one or two and build up from there. Focus on balancing your jewellery, if you wear a wedding ring on one hand try adding another two rings on your other hand.

We hope our guide to men's rings & how to style them has helped you find the solution to your ring dilemmas. Happy Shopping!
